The 2021 Markets Choice Awards was presented by Markets Media in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This pivot in virtual awards presentations resulted in the Markets Media team hosting the following awards presentations virtually.

RESPONSIBILITIES: For this recurring project I took the structured outline that was given for each awards presentation and implemented the videos that were sent over. I made sure audio was level, imported graphics, trimmed footage, selected backing tracks and created a consistent template and aesthetic across the 6 videos.

MY THOUGHTS: Anytime you’re incorporating one video into a project, it can be a challenge. Now imagine 40+ videos, each recorded by a different person. It isn’t something that’s necessarily hard but it can sometimes be a challenge keeping everything organized. One positive element of the project really was the consistency amongst each of the videos. Once we had a structure that we liked, we kept that from presentation to presentation.
