The I Am An Islander Project (IAAIP) was presented in collaboration with OKC Broadway, Life Change Ballroom and the award winning Broadway musical, Come From Away.

WHY: IAAIP tasks students with the jobs of comparing their stories to those told throughout Come From Away.

RESPONSIBILITES: For this video I shot and edited all interview and performance portions - excluding :06 - :12, 2:12 - 2:20, 2:47 - 2:54 and 3:00 - 3:04

MY THOUGHTS: One thing I wanted to really encapsulate with this project was showing the stories of community, family and friendship shown within Life Change Ballroom and told throughout Come From Away. As I worked through the editing process I found the overall video to come together effortlessly as the care shown within both entities is nothing short of apparent.
