The Kelli O’Hara Awards are presented by OKC Broadway and Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma. #TheKellis recognizes 2 exceptional Music Theatre students, grades 9 - 12, from across Oklahoma. Those top two students will go on to compete in the NHSMTA®, otherwise known as The National High School Musical Theatre Awards® or The Jimmy Awards®

WHY: Due to social distancing restrictions surrounding COVID-19, this video served to supplement the in person Kelli O’Hara Awards for the 2019 - 2020 school year.

RESPONSIBILITIES: My responsibilities for this video ranged from filming in one spot to editing in another. Feel free to contact me to learn more about the specifics of what went into this video.

MY THOUGHTS: This video was a beast - ha! It required lots of planning and many people to coordinate with students, teachers, professors, people giving shout outs and even Kelli O’Hara herself! In the midst of the process I asked myself, “what have I gotten into?” However, when everything was said and done I felt pretty accomplished from being able to create an almost hour long piece of content that showcased some of the most talented young adults in Oklahoma.
